What is Kiva?

Here’s a video featuring footage I shot when on assignment as a videographer and photographer for the non-profit organisation Kiva in Siem Reap, Cambodia. My videography work was also featured in another video which explained the clean energy cooking stoves people could secure loans from Kiva to buy.


Case Studies for VSO about their RECOVER Programme

I worked with VSO to produce two case studies to highlight their RECOVER programme in Camodia.


Communications specialist for a series of materials about providing loans to people with disabilities in Cambodia

I was videographer on this case study of Sophea and Lyheng who work for Chamroeun Microfinance. They both help to provide loans for people with disabilities, which helps to empower them and includes them more fully in society. I produced a range of videos and photographs to help to upscale the project.


Director of Photography and camera operator on Pride - It’s worth fighting for

I was DoP and camera operator on the Cambodian section of this film about LGBTQ+ Pride and why it’s important to protect vulnerable members of the community who can face even greater risk due to the Covid-19 pandemic. I was commissioned by Arete Stories to work on this film for Frontline Aids.


Videographer for SNV on the Innovations Against Poverty Fund

I produced, directed and edited this video to show the great work that SNV do in managing the Innovations Against Poverty Fund. The fund supports entrepreneurs who develop solutions to improve the lives of poor people living in rural communities. This documentary shows the work done by WeVenture, who deliver safe, clean piped water to people in Prek Chik commune in Battambang.


Videographer for Digital Divide Data to document the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum Archives Preservation and Digitization Project

I worked as a videographer on this project about the vital work that Digital Divide Data are doing preserving and digitising the archives at Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum in Phnom Penh.


Videographer for Temple Garden Foundation - Sopheak’s Story

It was an honour to make this video for Temple Garden Foundation (TGF), a small NGO based in Siem Reap. The concept was to show all of the programmes they have implemented through the story of Samnang, one of the beneficiaries. The animation gives the global facts of the NGO while Samnang’s story personalises the effectiveness of TGF’s core activities. The video has been an invaluable tool in securing funding that will allow the NGO to keep up the great work they do.


Videographer for Partners in Progress

Bill McDonough contacted me make of video of the work that Partners in Progress do on the Ship of Life. The Ship of Life is a fully equipped medical clinic and dentist that provides care to the poorest of the poor communities that live along the waterways in Cambodia. The video was shown at churches in the US was vital part of the NGO’s fundraising. I also produced a 360º/180º photo walk through of the ship to show volunteers what to expect before their visit.


Videographer for Asia Foundation : Kampong Thom Fisheries

I made this video for Asia Foundation about their community fisheries programme in Kampong Thom Province. It was important to show governmental involvement as well as showing the beneficiaries to illustrate how the advocacy process works. The programme has made a positive impact on local livelihoods. It had also given communities a sense of ownership over their fisheries.
