I am a video journalist, director of photography, camera operator and drone operator based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, with over 15 years of experience working across Southeast Asia and beyond.
My work spans breaking news and current affairs, long-form documentary, NGO and development sector content, travel and tourism, and corporate and commercial video. I work for international broadcasters, news agencies, production companies and NGOs, as a self-sufficient sole operator or as part of a larger crew, depending on what the project demands.
Recent credits include a documentary shoot for American public television covering Southeast Asia's largest floating solar farm in West Java, Indonesia, presented by Meg Ryan; and a shoot for American public television covering a luxury Mekong cruise from Kampong Cham to Saigon, presented by Laurence Fishburne.
Further credits include director of photography on segments of Loot, a feature documentary covering the return of 14 looted Khmer artefacts to Cambodia from the Metropolitan Museum of Art; director of photography on episodes of Conde Nast Traveller's Where the Chefs Eat and Ask a Local; two documentaries for Channel NewsAsia; two segments for the BBC Travel Show on BBC World News; and shooting camera assistant and drone operator on CNN's Nomad with Carlton McCoy.
A career highlight is Last of the Elephant Men, a feature documentary that won 14 international awards including the Canadian Screen Award for Best Cinematography.
