A selection of work as a video journalist, self-shooting producer and director of photography across news, current affairs, documentary and television.
Broadcast journalism credits include two 46-minute documentaries for CNA Insider, Channel NewsAsia's flagship current affairs programme, one covering the Cambodia-Thailand border dispute, viewed over 750,000 times on YouTube, and one on the Funan Techo Canal.
I have worked as shooting producer, director and sole camera operator on two segments for the BBC Travel Show on BBC World News, and as shooting camera assistant and drone operator on CNN's Nomad with Carlton McCoy.
On the documentary side, I served as director of photography on segments of Loot, covering the return of looted Khmer artefacts from the Metropolitan Museum of Art to Cambodia. A career highlight is Last of the Elephant Men, on which I worked as researcher, producer, director, camera operator and Steadicam operator over four years. The film won 14 international awards including the Canadian Screen Award for Best Cinematography.
